After National Service in the RAF as a trainee pilot he rejoined the company to work with the two chief designers on the concept of the Campbell-Norris 7 (Bluebird CN7), its wind tunnel testing and design, eventually becoming project co-ordinator for the construction.

Very dispointed to see comments about Jetstar approx p127. Donald Stevens claims are false. I respect memories fade but evidence is available to prove the 'prototype' was the actual craft as described. Photographic proof and even Pathe new footage shows craft at 1967 WWSR attempt. Opportunities for establishing this fact were avaialble before writing this book. So, a correction would be appropriate.
