Alfa Romeo Montreal - The Essential Companion by Bruce Taylor is awarded Book of the Month in Novembers edition of Classic and Sports Car magazine.
Also included in the magazine is a fantastic article about Bruce. The feature covers his background at CERN (The European Organisation for Nuclear Research) and his early encounters with the Montreal, which date back to 1970. Bruce became frustrated with the limited information available about the Montreal, and it was through one of his colleagues at CERN, Tim Berners-Lee (Inventor of the World Wide Web) that Bruce gained the ability to create his own websites, resulting in his world renowned Montreal website and forum - www.alfamontreal.info
Bruce acknowledges Veloce in the article:
"The poet José Marti said that in his lifetime every man should plant a tree, make a child and write a book. Having done the first two more than once, I set out to find a publisher. That wasn't easy because the first question is: 'How many of these cars was produced?' To its credit, Veloce took the risk. I hope it shows other enthusiasts that the Montreal is a hidden treasure that's well worth seeking."
These photos supplied by Bruce show that visitors to the Alfa Romeo annual concourse in Johannesburg are attracted by a copy of the book left in the rear of a yellow Montreal!
